Rian has advised business owners and executives for over 15 years. He began his career as a transactional attorney in private practice, primarily focusing on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and ultra-high-net-worth estate planning. As an attorney, Rian helped dozens of business owners negotiate the sale of their businesses and restructure their legal affairs. However, he found that his clients had the most robust outcomes when they proactively set the stage for an eventual sale – and had a plan for the next chapter of their lives. This experience led him to leave the law practice to pursue a more holistic advisor-client relationship within the wealth management space.

Rian founded the Accelerate team to help clients meet five objectives: (1) Avoid the mistakes of their peers; (2) Maximize their current & future earnings potential; (3) Minimize their tax burden; (4) Position their businesses as attractive acquisition prospects; and (5) Prepare to exit on their terms successfully. We utilize a proven process to build, protect, and transfer generational wealth – focusing on relentlessly executing strategies that move the needle.

Before joining Farther, Rian was a Vice President & Wealth Advisor at Goldman Sachs and United Capital Financial Advisors and an investment analyst for a boutique investment consulting firm. He graduated from New York University, obtained his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst^Ⓡ (CFA) Charterholder. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the John Deere Classic, a PGA TOUR event, and his local Habitat for Humanity affiliate.

With almost two decades of industry experience, Parker is a seasoned, fee-only financial advisor specializing in wealth management, financial planning, and investment management for high-net-worth individuals, executives, business owners, doctors, dentists, and retirees. Parker’s extensive experience allows him to provide objective, holistic, comprehensive financial planning, investment, and retirement plan solutions that enable his clients to achieve their short and long-term financial goals.

As a member of the Accelerate team, Parker enjoys partnering with business owners to help them optimize their financial situation and corporate retirement plans, enhance their investments, and mitigate their overall tax liability. Parker combines extensive expertise in alternative investments with a passion for sourcing, educating, and allocating in this space to diversify and add value to his clients’ portfolios strategically.

Before joining Farther, Parker was a wealth advisor at independent RIAs. He began his career at Nuveen and Kayne Anderson in Los Angeles and Cambridge Associates in Boston. Parker received his BA from the University of California Santa Barbara, holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS^®) designation from the College of Financial Planning, and is pursuing his CFP^® at UC Berkeley. A former ski instructor for Vail Resorts, Parker loves spending time in the mountains. He lives in Moraga, CA, with his wife and daughter.

Roy began his career working for his father, who was one of the nation’s first Certified Financial Planners. He then went on to build a successful career in finance, research, and technology industries – including holding several senior operating officer roles at both public and private companies.

A registered FINRA advisor, Roy earned an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a Certificate of Financial Planning from the University of California, Berkeley.

Roy is an avid skier and a lifetime (but significantly above-par) golfer. He has been married for over 30 years and has 3 children.

Over the past 15 years, Daniel has helped business owners, entrepreneurs, and families realize their financial aspirations through goals-based planning. This comprehensive approach and coordination of all assets brings clarity and confidence to financial decisions: each client has a unique situation, and Daniel’s tailored approach is vital to achieving their goals.

Daniel is a former Systems Engineer and Product Manager at AOL, and he transferred those skills to assist clients with financial planning. A current doctoral candidate at the University of South Florida, Daniel’s research is focused on uncovering the inhibitors and motivations for planning.

Daniel is an Advisory Board Member of GrowFL and the University of North Florida, as well as an alumni of Leadership Jacksonville and 40 Under 40. Daniel and his wife, Carol Dobbs, live in Atlantic Beach with their two children, Kennedy Grace and Wilder James. Daniel enjoys all outdoor activities – whether it includes golf, the ocean, the top of Mt. Rainier, or braving tent camping with a 2-year-old.
