About

Max Zwain brings over a decade of experience in wealth management and retirement plan consulting, offering a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach to financial planning. As Founder and CEO of Zwain Capital Management, Max helps individuals, families, and businesses craft clear, actionable strategies to achieve lasting financial independence. He combines institutional investment discipline with an educator’s mindset, ensuring clients not only have a sound plan — but truly understand it.

Before founding Zwain Capital Management, Max served as Director of Retirement Planning at FreeGulliver where he advised organizations on 401(k) and 403(b) programs. He began his career in private wealth management at Morgan Stanley, supporting the management of more than $2 billion in client assets. A graduate of Tulane University and former Teach For America corps member, Max’s experience spans comprehensive financial planning, investment management, corporate retirement plan design, and fiduciary oversight. His blend of analytical rigor and educational insight has made him a trusted advisor to both institutional and individual clients.

A lifelong New Orleanian, Max lives in Mid-City with his wife and two daughters. Deeply committed to his community, he serves on several local boards, including as Chair of the Touro Infirmary Foundation Board of Trustees. Outside of work, Max enjoys playing tennis, attending Jazz Fest, staying active at the gym, and exploring Louisiana’s natural beauty with his family.
