About

For more than 15 years, Steve has helped individuals and business owners navigate life’s most meaningful financial transitions with clarity and confidence. As the founder of Magnificent Life Financial Planning, he specializes in values-based, holistic planning—guiding clients through moments such as divorce, career change, retirement, or the loss of a spouse. His work centers on helping people align their financial strategies with what matters most to them, grounded in his belief that true wealth is measured not just in returns, but in peace of mind and the ability to live a life that feels genuinely fulfilling.

Steve’s approach blends technical rigor with a deeply human perspective, informed by nearly two decades of experience in banking and financial services, including senior executive roles. He holds multiple advanced credentials—CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Certified Financial Transitionist®, Registered Life Planner®, and Enrolled Agent—reflecting his commitment to comprehensive expertise. Inspired by his educator parents, he has also served as Adjunct Faculty at Rio Salado College, teaching financial courses. Steve earned his BA in Asian Languages (Japanese) from Arizona State University and his MBA from Grand Canyon University.

Based in Tempe, Arizona, Steve is a proud husband and father of four. Outside of work, he channels the same discipline he brings to his clients into endurance sports as a six-time Ironman triathlon finisher. He enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, and keeping up his conversational Japanese.
