About

Thomas Gray is a Principal and Financial Advisor at C.H. Douglas & Gray Wealth Management, where he plays a central role in portfolio oversight, trading and rebalancing, compliance, and guiding clients through significant financial life transitions such as education planning and retirement. His work blends technical rigor with a steady, client-focused perspective.

A lifelong Indianapolis resident, Tom graduated from North Central High School before attending Northwestern University for his undergraduate studies and Princeton University for graduate school, where he earned a PhD in German Literature and Philosophy. He began his financial career in New York City, working in international equities at several major investment banks, including Dean Witter, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson. Tom earned the CFA® designation in 1998 and the CFP® certification in 2022, reflecting his deep commitment to both investment excellence and comprehensive financial planning.

Tom and his wife, Kindra, have two adult children, Taylor and Elliot. In his free time, Tom enjoys reading, traveling, and playing the piano (badly, but enthusiastically).
