About

Art is a seasoned financial professional with more than three decades of experience across advisory, leadership, and investment management roles. He began his career as a financial advisor in 1987 and went on to serve in senior positions at First Tennessee Bank, John Hancock Financial Services, and SS&C Technologies. After years of building and leading investment teams, Art returned to his advisory roots, most recently serving as an Investment Advisor at Carmichael Creel Investments.

Art brings a pragmatic, client-centered approach to wealth management. With experience spanning individual investors, financial advisors, and 401(k) participants, he is skilled at translating complex financial objectives into simple, actionable strategies. He is guided by Einstein’s maxim: “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.”

Art is based in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife Heather. They have three adult children and two English bulldogs. Outside of work, Art enjoys travel, golf, reading, and cheering on the Tennessee Titans.
