Jared has been helping people plan for their future since 1992. He became licensed to sell securities in 1994 and later became an IAR in 2005 when starting his firm Capital Portfolio Management. He takes pride in handling his clients’ money how he personally handles his own, making sure all trades are placed at the same time and at the same price. Although success may not be guaranteed, he can ensure that accountability is. In his 30 plus years in the industry, he’s gained valuable experience on how to steer clients away from risky financial moves – including using individual bonds or CDs to avoid the volatility that occurs during a rising rate environments, and knowing that “buy and hope” is not always the best strategy if a client needs to take withdrawals.
Jared has been married for 32 years and has 3 grown children. In his spare time, he officiates high school football in the fall, coaches soccer at a small parochial school in Topeka, and spends time at his family’s home in Colorado.
