Felton Jenkins III, CFA®

Felton Jenkins III, CFA® was previously a partner and portfolio manager at Trimaran Capital LLC, and spent 14 years in investments at Minis & Company and 7 years in Weyerhaeuser corporate finance. His international work spans Uruguay, South Africa, Australia, and Canada. He earned a Yale MBA and Master’s in natural resource economics, and a UGA B.S. in zoology. Felton is treasurer of The Flyfisher Foundation of Oregon, a UGA Odum School of Ecology board member, and White Salmon Rotary Club program director. Previously, he worked for the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (Alaska), the National Fish & Wildlife Foundation, and the U.S. House Interior Committee. He is a life member of Trout Unlimited, the Nature Conservancy, and Backcountry Hunters & Anglers. A NOLS graduate, Felton has caught over 100 fish species and 150 reptile/amphibian species (nearly all released). He hunts central Oregon partridge with his English setter, Beck, and was a sponsoring angler on three Wild Salmon Center expeditions to the Russian Far East. He strongly supports the Kayapo Project, making three trips to the Kayapo Indigenous Territory, a 20-million-acre primary forest in Brazil's Amazon, recently participating in its field course.
