John began his career as a full-service broker before joining Charles Schwab, where he earned his series 7, 9, 10, 24, and 26 licenses. Over time, he recognized the advantages of a fee-based advisor model over the commission-based approach, which led him to opening the Austin location for the Mutual Fund Store in 2005.
John and his wife, Angi, live in Austin and frequently visit Denver. Their two children, Anna and Miles, also reside in Texas. Outside of work, John enjoys reading, golfing, and attending concerts.
