Katie Waters brings more than 18 years of experience helping executives, high-earning families, and widows make confident financial decisions. She created a comprehensive planning process rooted in detailed cashflow analysis and behavioral finance—an approach designed to reshape habits and build lasting financial confidence.
In 2011, Katie founded Stable Waters Financial and built an all-female financial planning team dedicated to empowering clients through thoughtful guidance. In 2025, her team joined Farther to share this proven process with a broader audience. Katie remains deeply committed to the development and advancement of female financial planners, ensuring the profession reflects the diverse communities it serves.
Based in Athens, Georgia, Katie lives with her husband, Brandon, who serves as Client Experience Specialist for the Stable Waters x Farther team. Together, they enjoy traveling, volunteering with local nonprofits, and doting on their six Godchildren.
